I will be performing a test of how long the UPS can last on battery power, which will include oort gracefully shutting down automatically. Once oort has shutdown, I will plug the UPS back into mains power, and start up oort again.

I will be testing how long it takes for oort to shutdown.

This test was once again somewhat unsuccessful. The UPS seems to have shut off at 20%, unsafely killing power to all connected devices (oort, router and ONT). The UPS should have entered a "Low Battery" mode at 30%, which should have commanded oort to shutdown.

Northern Powergrid have cancelled the planned power cut at short notice. All services will remain online.
